These are in the list of the most popular self-defense weapons. One reason for their popularity is that kubatons are a highly effective pressure point weapon that  is considered non-lethal and legal almost everywhere.

The ease of portability of the kubatons also adds to their popularity. While there are a numerous types of kubotans, the average kubaton has a length of five and a half inches and with a half inch diameter. You can easily carry these devices in your pocket and better still there are models with a keyhole which make them readily available whenever you have your keys with you.

Stun Guns for Self Defense

Stun  guns are another excellent self-defense  weapon that uses an electrical voltage to disrupt the muscle function of your attacker. The the voltage that is produced by this gun inflict s pain on the attacker, but importantly it interferes with the neurological impulses that run from the brain to the muscles reducing their ability to control the muscle function.

The disadvantage of the stun gun is that the electrodes must get into contact with your target.

The the advantage of the stun gun is that they are effective almost anywhere meaning that if you are attacked by surprise or from behind, you do not need to aim the defense sprays, learn more here!
